With an Indian agricultural scientist for a father and an American dreamer for a mother, she spent her childhood across India, Africa, the Pacific Islands, and other parts of the world. Wherever she went, she saw how communities relied on raw, precious ingredients to care for their skin. She saw Kashmiri women blend saffron into their nightly rituals in the Himalayan foothills. She watched women in Southern Africa nourish their skin with fresh shea butter. She learned how families in Papua New Guinea used cold pressed coconut oil as a daily essential.

These experiences shaped her understanding that real nourishment comes from simple, honest ingredients that nature provides.
